Take a 29 minute nap to avoid falling into a deep state of sleep, that way when you wake up it won't feel groggy.
Also, drink a cup of coffee a few minutes before taking a nap. It takes around a half hour for caffeine to kick in, so when you take your thirty minute nap the coffee helps to clear your head.
