My little buddy died a year ago. Today I came across his old bed blanket when I was cleaning out a closet. I hung onto the blanket for those mysterious reasons you hang onto things while in a state of grief.

Seeing the blanket made me more heartbroken than happy so I knew I had to throw it away right then and there. I suppose I originally kept it because I wanted a momento.

Well, my memories of him in happy times shall be my momentos. And there sure are a lot of 'em.

I really dont know what I would do without my cat, she keeps me grounded.

Or even my bird, (we have a love hate relationship) there was one time she got this huge puss filled growth... I panicked of course and took her to a avian vet (200 dollars with meds). they were shocked to see a 11 year old budgie, but she is do fine now cranky as always. Every morning "hello blue" every night "goodnight blue" shes in my home office so we almost always together.

*edit it was a vitamin deficiency, so if anyone has one, get this stuff called vita drops from petsmart

i still remember every pet i had, that feeling will never go away. I mean you loved them. love is powerful

stay strong
