I had to wake up at 4:00 a.m. to drive my wife to the airport. It is really nice to drive on roads when there is no traffic. Also, it is quiet everywhere and the peace is very nice. I can get a bunch of work done without being interrupted every few minutes and anyone else I happen to see is in the same state of mind: quietly enjoying the quiet and not wanting to speak in order to keep the quiet going as long as possible before it is ruined.

It feels like I got a days worth of work done in a couple of hours.

It's a great habit. I rise early on the weekends, too and hit the wooded hills with a hunting pack or ruck to kick the day into gear.
