"ok thanks a lot. Bye"

"Alright, talk to you later man. Bye."

It's not that hard!

Anyway, thanks to all the people who know how to keep it simple and put the phone down. Whenever it doesn't take 30 seconds to end the call politely I feel blessed.

With people that are hard to get off the phone with I usually lead with, "I'm going to have to let you go, I have so and so that I need to get to".

I end phone calls by not answering them.

On television, ALMOST NO ONE SAYS GOODBYE ON THE PHONE. It is nearly impossible to find an actor doing so. They just hang up.

I do like the non-bye hangup every once in a while. As long as it's clear the conversation was over I think it's fair game.

"alright bye"

"oh wait before you go i need to add..."
