After about a day and a half here everyone from the first exodus has gotten over it, we're not harping about how voat are big meanies every 15 minutes like voat does about poal. Well since you ruined our streak, may as well add something in, anyone notice how incredibly scared the power users on voat are of a poal exodus? wen't over to check out what they were saying about the current situation and besides the people who are rightly upset at the lack of transparency by putt the people who are pro-putt are lying their asses off about poal whenever anyone brings it up. "oh it's a leftist forum where free speech is banned", "it's like a even more leftwing reddit", "it's all censorship" and "it's full of pedophiles", 'whatever you do don't you dare go check it out for yourself, it's that bad". They really don't want people to take a look for themselves and see how great poal is, they need to spread blatant falsehoods into scaring people away, if anyone actually went to poal they'd see that it has the exact same free speech rules as voat supposedly has, with the only noticeable difference being that poal also bans all sexualization of minors, where as voat only bans sexualization of minors when it violates US law, that's literally the only difference. Unless Voat has another shitstorm I'd expect the voat posts here to continually die down over the next few days, until it's not mentioned at all (until Putt starts another banwave for people disagreeing with his gay 'builders' project).
