I am from Germany. I guess this is a gap in my language. Maybe I should delete and repost with "stable" instead. I thought these words are nearly interchangeable.

Stable: firmly established, not changing or fluctuating.

I read the former first in some Sony camcorder advertisement.

But USB-C indeed has a longer endurance (lifespan).
