Floppy disks and casette tapes and similar old technologies, next to nostalgia, can provide a sense of gratitude towards newer technologies that one usually takes for granted. And they can be fun toys for experimenting too.

Story: In my childhood, I once experimented with an audio casette and a magnet.

The magnet could erase the tape when touching the strip, but also sonewhat blend the audio on layers of tape strip together when held sideways.

That was fun.
