We have a radio clock by Mebus that has a built-in tiltable projector which allows the current time to be projected to a wall, visible in darkness.

Usually it only is enabled when pressing the snoozr (and backlight) button or another dedicated button for it, but if connected to the external 3 volt DC power source, it can stay on indefinitely.

I have also heard of some that allow projecting the temperature, but not tested yet.

Always wanted one of those and the wife has too. I should get one at some point.
