YouTube AutoShare was a feature that automatically broadcasted the following actions to Twitter and Google Plus:

  • Liked videos (title and URL)
  • Playlist additions (video title and video URL)
  • Uploaded videos (title and URL)
  • Channel subscriptions (channel name and URL to channel) – Removed earlier already.

Something I appreciate about that feature is that traces of lost videos could be recovered by searching parts of the title or the URL in Twitter.

It could also help discover whether the title of the video has been changed, and the original title.

Sadly, that feature was removed on January 30 or 31 of 2019. The removal was announced around January 10, as far as I can remember. Five days before annotations were removed.
