The YouTube app had this feature since ~2015 or 2016, and the mobile website players of Dailymotion and Vimeo had that feature for a long time as well.

In late 2019, YouTube's mobile website started using a custom HTML5 player by YouTube instead of the browser's native player UI.

But it lacked one feature: The ability to double-tap on the left side to skip a few seconds backwards, and the right side for forwards.

Thankfully, it finally has that feature now!
