I didn't realize how much I'd been compensating for it wearing out; easing off the line, upping the rpms ever so slightly to get into gear once at speed. After 180,000 miles, mostly in the city, it finally gave up all together last week. This week it has been an absolute pleasure to drive again.

Actually, that makes sense.

She still makes me pay for everything, though. Somehow I don't mind as much when she wears that little dress, though.
