Central air is up there with the internet on the list of mans greatest inventions. I don't use it often but when I do its amazing.

If you go outside at the crack of dawn you will be able to withstand the heat better then if you sit indoors in 60 degree air all morning. Our bodies are amazing our brains convince us otherwise

I generally say that I don't care how hot it gets, as long as there is water for me to jump in to.

This works OK at the beach or a lake, and I've been known to jump into the water, then walk/sit around in soaking wet (but cool) clothes. Doesn't work so well in an office environment though, so thank fuck for A/C.

Fuck AC!! We moved into our house at the beginning of summer spent $4000 on a whole new AC system, a giant heatwave hit Europe and the damn thing crapped out on us. We called the AC guy but he had gone on vacation (with our money no doubt) and a couple of weeks later we got a hold of him.

Apparently there had been a recall on our outside unit which he wasn't aware of, we waited another week for the parts and him and his installer showed up and fixed it.

Now I love AC!
