I found sipping on water after taking a drink of black coffee creates some nice after tastes. At least with a French roast.

I've made and sold maple syrup before but what people really liked was pure maple brown sugar. I sold whole jars of it to folks using it in their coffee.

My GF used to love maple syrup in her coffee. The cost of the volumes of high grade maple syrup she was going through was one of the things that made her quit coffee.
