Lol! My friend in Alabama (formerly of San Diego area) and I were talking on the phone earlier this week, talked a bit about ribs and he mentioned Love's and their ribs, "best he ever had". All we had for ribs in this area was "Tony Roma's" for years, and they closed that restaurant years ago.
Ewww. Tony Roma sucks.
Check it. If you want EASY ribs, do this.
Get a good rub, whatever you like. I have one I get from Big R that has Jalapeno in it. Rub the bitches up, let em sit overnight in a fridge. Next day, cut the ribs in half (or more if needed), and put them into a slow cooker. You can add liquid if you like for additional flavor. I find a good dark lager adds good flavor. Let em sit on low for like 5-6 hours. After 5-6 hours, take em out and slather them in your favorite BBQ sauce. I recommend you use an air fryer (consult your book since they all cook diff), but if you don't have one, oven broil the ribs for 15-20 minutes. You may need to re-sauce half way through. At the end, you have restaurant quality yummy shit. Corn bread and some slaw, and profit.
I wasn't impressed with Tony Roma's either.
You're making me hungry...
