Yes, everything I buy at a show like this is either ready to use, or is restorable/parts for something else I have.

I bought a floor lamp at the same show. It had been electrically butchered, but there are plenty of places selling period-accurate electrical goods that will fit and will bring it back to life. I usually patronize Grand Brass, they have a lot of what you'd need for antique lighting projects.
