I was expecting a impressive yacht. Not impressed at all!
A number of years ago I got to see Roger Penske's yacht. (Not the current one (boatinternational.com). The one before it (boatinternational.com).) Quite simply insane level of opulence.
Damn... that beam is as long as my boat.
Honestly the first one seems more impressive to me. I mean how big of a ship do you really need and I'd rather be able to do the 34 knots, that is fast AF for a boat that size.
We only got to go aboard for 10 or 15 minutes and barely saw any of it. Honestly, it was even cooler to see it from a small motorboat from the outside. It took forever to circle the damn thing.
I didn't realize you meant you were able to go aboard. That's pretty cool. Too bad you didn't at least get a cocktail hour on it!
I think for a ship like that I'd be more interested in seeing the infrastructure. The pilot house, engine room, galley, and stuff like that.
