I used to watch them with my grandmother and she'd explain why they don't have this or that like all the houses. Why there are chickens in the bed. Now that is poor.

I'm raised in the country and we were about that poor, just a bit cleaner and orderly. Lived all over since but am now back in Appalachia, retired. Went for breakfast at Waffle King in Murphy, NC this morning and oh my, the place was packed with hillbillies. Only hillbillies. Mountain folk. I like these folks. Honest, hard working, non-cussin' people with very well behaved kids. Nice.

That's weird... I remember seeing this and seeing the helmet. Then someone edited it, and in the back of my head I always wondered why he had a pan. But I've hit people with pans and pipes that make an incredibly comical sound when they hit skulls, and leftist camps are a mess, so I completely forgot it was a helmet.
