He accidentally set it on fire with a lighter. Uh, no, that's not how it works. He may have unintentionally and accidentally killed himself when he failed to realize the fire he intentionally started would get out of control. This is why you train your kids and expose them to guns, fire, etc. Gets the curiosity out of them and they don't decide to just play with it.
