The cost of hiring someone to return carts is included in the price of the purchased products. You are working for the store and paying them for the privilege. That said, I understand your point.

All societal cost are broke down in the (((prices))) we pay to live in said society.

The cost of merchandise is also rolled into losses due to theft. Doesn't mean theft is an acceptable behavior.

Absolutely! Even built into insurance to open and operate the business. People love to complain about ghetto food deserts, but who the hell would want to pay all that insurance to cover the risk of opening a business there?
