I hope his family is doing okay or as well as they can be considering the situation. I'm sure it isn't easy losing a guy like that. I know he was a lot of things to a lot of people.

I only knew the guy from his time here. I enjoyed talking too him almost everyday. I'd wake up grab my coffee and there he would be on chat saying good morning and we'd exchange a few words back and forth. It was almost a ritual for me. I'll miss the guy.

Edit: For a while we have a custom Poal Logo in honor of @Owlchemy, and the slogans are all @Owlchemy quotes for a while, we will also be doing a special episode of the podcast tonight as he was one of our first listeners and certainly the one that gave me the most feedback.

Trust in the Owl. This is my first internet death and it doesn’t feel any less personal and doesn’t hurt any less. It would be lovely if there was a way to let his wife, daughters, and entire family know what he meant to this community; how much he was liked and respected and how deeply his loss is felt. I shall spend a solemn morning in my walnut grove thinking of him. May you be at peace oh wise one.

You know I knew it was a possibility, I did not know it would hit me this hard. I feel like I've legitimately lost a friend. My hope is they see this and it brings them some happiness to know that there are people all over the world that will miss him.
