I hope his family is doing okay or as well as they can be considering the situation. I'm sure it isn't easy losing a guy like that. I know he was a lot of things to a lot of people.

I only knew the guy from his time here. I enjoyed talking too him almost everyday. I'd wake up grab my coffee and there he would be on chat saying good morning and we'd exchange a few words back and forth. It was almost a ritual for me. I'll miss the guy.

Edit: For a while we have a custom Poal Logo in honor of @Owlchemy, and the slogans are all @Owlchemy quotes for a while, we will also be doing a special episode of the podcast tonight as he was one of our first listeners and certainly the one that gave me the most feedback.

We had the pleasure of his intelligence and wit for years over on Voat as well. He is remembered and fondly thought of there, and I can understand why he decided to only lurk there recently after years of interaction. Always insightful and amusing, I shared a passion for our "old fogey" music in PaddysPub and had such pleasure reminiscing that period with him.

Miss you, Buddy, you leave a legacy that will not be filled. May your family accept my heartfelt condolences, he was truly a great person.
