Ohh you were talking about the shadow banning measures. Whoops, I thought you meant collecting metrics and logs. Well try not to do any of those things, it will make people more averse to using such sites. But wouldn't it also be better to just pull the plug on these sites instead of going full dystopian? Like why should these social med sites grow so big and corrupt to hang around longer than their organic worth? I understand that it is a business protocol, but keeping them around too long; may just be cancerous for the communities.
