Galaxy s9 here, and it's obnoxious. But I am still able to use it now, so it's not a real issue. Dumb weird inconsistent browser behavior.

I think she is using chrome as her browser so maybe its that.

Yeah, that makes sense. I only use chrome for Google crap on thos thing, for some reason defaulting to the Samsung browser for everything else. I guess I am just racist against Google. As if Samsung is any better...

Joogle's gay. I stick to desktop mostly, alternating between Firefox, and yes Joogle for the mundane, and Dissenter to publicly comment out critically review and annotate obnoxious sites like wiki and facebook (has good anti-fingerprinting protection too, but also has (((dubious backers))) ), and a couple not worth mentioning. Dissenter (blocked by Australian and NZ ISP's recently) uses Chrome extensions, but built on the open source Brave browser. I know a lot of phones tend to be fairly useless with non-native browsers, androids generally default to Joogle.
