Poal needs your help

As many of you may not know, PMYB2 and I agreed that he would be the one managing donations.

Since his sudden passing, I currently do not have access to the donation accounts he was using (working on solving it, but it's gonna take time).

So in the meantime, I have set up new crypto wallets so I can continue to pay the VPS hosting fees for poal and the self-hosted services (vid8, mumble, chat...).

The total monthly cost is a little less than $200. Due dates are between the 12th and 18th of each month.

So if you like poal and wanna help, you can donate whatever you can.

I have 9,066GB of which 3,931GB is free where 1800GB of free space is on one HDD

If you use a program like Electrum, you don't need to download the entire blockchain.

Current Bitcoin blockchain is about 350GB.

Go to Bitcoin.org and Download the Core.

From there, you will, first, download the entire blockchain.

Then, you can follow instructions to create your wallet.

Be very, very, very sure to hand write your details and triple check them. Once you've lost your wallet details, it's over.

Is there any way to just buy and send bitcoins completely anonymously (to the receiver) without setting up all these things? I'm never going to use this again.

There might be a way, but... I am unaware of one.

I do recommend for the computer minded to do this, though.

It may seem like it's not useful, at this moment, but once you are familiar with it, it becomes pretty ubiquitous.
