It is with a heavy heart that I must announce the sudden passing of PMYB2 (aka Boobs).

To protect the privacy of his relatives and close friends, the details handed out will be very limited, so please refrain from sharing personal details.

However, it is important for this community to know about Boobs’ values and commitment to the cause of free speech. The loss of Boobs is a loss for all of us, and we will likely feel it for some time in material ways within the community, and just as importantly, we will feel it as the loss of one in the real world who put himself at risk so that you might have a voice outside of the corporate sponsored echo-chambers.

Boobs was a staunch supporter of the right to free speech. That meant even speech that he didn’t personally agree with. Some of the values that Boobs encouraged were commitment to family, raising a new generation with the skills to think for themselves, and using the tools you have to accomplish the purpose set before you. Boobs was not some rock star developer or digital engineer with the capacity to develop a global platform alone. Rather, Boobs was the type that could build relationships, foster ideas, and utilize common sense (along with search engine tooling) to create something bigger than what anyone might imagine is possible. Boobs had the tenacity and drive to learn new things and gain the skills necessary to confront any task. At the same time, Boobs aspired to balance this with providing for his family and those given Boobs’ commitment to love and protect. If that mix of values sounds familiar to you, that’s because we are more similar and empowered than they want us to believe.

Hearing about this loss may set off a firestorm of speculation within this community. It is natural to experience loss, and thereupon, desire to make it mean something, even when the distance of our connection to the loss is great. I encourage you to seize upon this desire for action and utilize it for the strengthening and encouragement of this community. Build the collection of memes, videos, anecdotes, and unfiltered discussions so the legacy of what Boobs aspired to has greater impact and reach. Now is not the time to tear each other down; now is the time to create stronger bonds and content with such creativity and impact that it has the effect of drawing men and women to view it, question their own preconceptions, and begin to shake loose the shackles of the cabalistic narrative that is paraded before them daily.

In closing I would like to state this: If anyone says, “this is the end of Poal” confront them as a liar. This loss is just that, a loss, not some killing blow for this community. In Greek mythology there is a beast known as the Hydra. If one head is cut off, two more grow back in its place. Those of you with any longstanding connection to the free speech movement are aware that this concept is present and real in ways that the cabal fails to comprehend. Let this be our rallying cry to aspire to, for any of us that are lost through causes natural or unnatural, spread the word, we are not defeated; we are emboldened, empowered, and enlivened by loss. We know that they want us to feel marginalized, lonely, and hopeless. Defy their desires in honor of Boobs and never forget, “Great Nipples”.

I hope we meet you all in the next.

I'm glad someone said this. I have to say this news sucks.

@AOU, if you need some help around here I'd be happy to lend a hand, so long as coding isn't involved.

Thanks bud! You're already doing your part as an approved user.

How do you get this status?

[–] 1 pt (edited )

True, sad. So many people I know IRL died in the last 3 years.

Why not at least give a general loose description of CAUSE OF DEATH?

So many will wonder... then rumors will spread... then rumors become solidified.

Also, those of his friends and semi-friends not afraid of voiceprint doxxing should organize a "remember when?" fond reminiscing of poalcasts of the past using https://cast.poal.co/?address=cast.poal.co&port=443/mumble or some such similar service

someone should set that in memoriam up at a scheduled time.

This eerie shitpost on this news topic this hour now, from over a month ago, just seems like playing dice with the universe : https://poal.co/s/TellPoal/413361

Because, with all due respect, it's none of your business, and you are entitled to nothing here. Especially coming from someone who has been hating Boobs and I, while spitting their venom on poal.

It's already planned. We just have to find a date where most people will be available.

That was a /s/tellpoal post from a user, not an official announcement from an admin. Learn the difference.

RIP Boobs and I respect the privacy. AOU, I think the question people want answered is....Did he get the shot? All normal private health issues have always been private, but in this transformation to dystopia, the clot shot info is on demand everywhere. I'm not trying to disrespect, but if you could strike that out, if he didn't get it, that would be helpful.

[–] 0 pt

Was he killed by the vaccines? I think that's what most people will be wondering.

[–] -4 pt

If you can't give a general cause of death for someone who is completely anonymous to the rest of us, I can only conclude that the cause of death is unflattering to him and you're keeping it secret to protect his reputation.

Did he get the Covid vaccine?

Did he overdose on drugs?

Suicide?

DUI?

Was he murdered by his boyfriend's husband?

Heart attack from being super obece?

You can give enough of an answer to satisfy people's curiosity without betraying anything about his privacy.

rumors will spread

Maybe amongst people who know the decedent?

[–] -10 pt

Probably covid and he was unvaxxed

[–] 11 pts

This is not the thread for this.

[–] 22 pts

He gave a lot of love and now we can't pay him back. We'll have to be better to each other.

[–] 3 pts

Pay it forward, don't pay it back.

Starjello? That you, man? It's me, dadudemon. The one and only. :D

Do you remember me?

[–] 1 pt

Where do we know each other from?

[–] 2 pts

If you don't recognize my name (we chatted a lot on another site and you went through some mental tough times that I helped you with), it's just a coincidence that you're name is starjello like the other dude.

You'd recognize my name, immediately, if you were the same dude. No worries - forget I said anything.

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

May boobs be granted eternal rest, in the congregation of the Lord.

Those are great words AOU. Looks like I owe a great thanks to someone (many I suppose) that I did not know.

Forward any thanks and kudos possible to his family from all of us.

[–] 7 pts

His family is most certainly reading this.

[–] 8 pts

I'm glad they're reading this and I hope they learn how much he meant to this community.

Ignore the trolls, Boobs' people. Owlchemy's daughter got a lot out of the time she spent here after he passed.

[–] 15 pts

It's sad news. Sincere condolences for all.

I think I'll have a drink and raise a toast: "To Boobs and Poal, and a job well done."

[–] 2 pts

RIP, he seemed like a cool guy, his spirit will live on

[–] 14 pts

Sad state of affairs when charlatans and murderers are in my face every day and good people can’t be celebrated openly. RIP.

[–] 12 pts

Make a PMYB2 memorial badge @aou

[–] 2 pts

Why? Not all our deaths will be acknowledged, much less with an announcement.

[–] 3 pts

When I die, I expect I'll have to be the one to shovel the dirt over my coffin, because I doubt anyone else will be there.

I want to end up like a leering skull and bones attached to my couch by microbic fibers leering at a computer screen long gone dead.

I third this, @AOU.

Sorry I didn't have time to read all the mentions.

Please provide your ideas in a post in /s/IdeasForPoal

I never told him but I'm really thankful for a place like this. Whether here or other fronts, we'll always fight for freedom of speech and open conversation. Great nipples indeed.

[–] 11 pts

This is the saddest news I've heard in a while.

As many times as you go through this in life, I am still faced with this moment that it is nigh impossible to process.

I will miss my friend, dearly.

I haven't caught up with any of you, but I'll try to get on, this evening. If his family needs any material support, I'm willing to see what I can do.

Hug your loved ones. Tell them you love them.

[–] 4 pts

Yes please do @webofslime. His family will definitely need help. I'll dm further details about their situation.

Thank you for your condolences.
