The government is a glorified secretary class. Independence Day is a reminder to them.
My sermon to those who hate fireworks is this: the fireworks are a reminder that we fought long and hard for this freedom, and now we celebrate that we have not had open war in this land for over a hundred years, but must remain capable of doing so, and vigilant of the need.
