@AOU Here is a thought just in case this is actually something technical gone wrong causing it to be unable to be reverted as I saw @picman and @PMYB2 commenting about. If you mark a comment as saved and then view your saved comments it will show the name of the person who actually made that comment and not a random name. This only applies to comments on posts though - saved posts still have randomized names. This author element on that saved comments page (or even on your own comment history page) is still clickable to go to that author's page, it is just that the CSS for the level/color appearance still randomizes on the name, but the name is correct and clickable. For reference, as you will see my name randomized, I am Khro_ making this comment: https://poal.co/u/Khro_ If you save my comment and then go view your saved comments, you will see that it is me who made this comment and what I am describing. In case you were not aware of this already, I thought altering the author elements on all other pages to match that page which is still 'normal' and then adjusting the level/color CSS again might help get things back to working how they had. Again, just if this is a technical issue and not that you're actually intentionally keeping it this way or intending it to be permanent.
