So when I say good news you all know that means Pauline is back in chat, matrix is back. Its even got all the history!

So enjoy, feel free to join up at PoalChat! Make sure to change your Homeserver to chat.poal.co, because if you use matrix.org you'll end up alone with the other poalrs who made the same mistake. Element is the name of the chat application and there are Apps for Android and iOS feel free to download them and connect that way!

PS. due to the amount of complaints about /s/whatever it will be mod post only until further notice, have a nice day.

I'm noticing minichat has been removed.

  • enable minichat in your user preferences.

There's also still no way to turn off the harmful dark mode.

  • there are currently only dark or grey modes (day mode will come later)

Is Poal planning to shut down, or trying to reduce the number of users?

I may be missing something obvious but I cannot find the option to enable Minichat in my preferences. There is a toggle for disable chat but the box is unchecked.

Must be your cache then.

Check it, save, uncheck, save again.

Make sure your Adblock isn’t blocking poal.co
