I was becoming concerned. Thought you were pulling a voat on us.

Hope all is well and it was an unrelated, innocuous event. Thanks for quickly addressing it.

Happy to do it. Now I shall go get my honey do list done.

honey do list

You have a melon list?

[–] 1 pt

Yes. In order of best melons to worst

Thank you for fixing the site. I was having Poal withdrawals.

Even though it's not official yet, I'm glad we are still meeting the 0.00001% uptime goal.

You might consider having the site hide its power-level to those that are not logged in. Just as you have NSFW tags, apply something similar so you aren't kiked out like 8ch and others.

Suggestions?

You'd be depriving lurkers of seeing important redpills.

Basic text analysis on submission titles. Filter key-words/phrases from showing up on front-page except for logged-in users.Add it in to the ToS, and have an "I Agree" checkbox when submitting content which states that they are aware of the post being flagged, and refer them to the ToS. Implement something that logs filter-circumventing attempts (decided by user-reporting) and ban repeat-offenders.

The only downside I can think of is that it can potentially become an arms-race against the filter bot; either that and/or it makes that site look like a complete ghost-town which only the "initiated" would know how to make useful. That last part might actually be silver-lining, who knows.

*edit: and make it so that even once you log in, you have to go in to user settings to disable the front-page filter. Essentially, making every possible attempt to ensure it looks like the person went out of their way to view said content.

I like it.

Just have a checkbox when creating a submission to restrict the post to logged in users only.

This one is okay... but I still dislike using Voat primarily because posted research cannot be indexed.

What was the issue?

Hosting provider, no big deal I sorted it out.
