Since there was an overwhelmingly strong response to the poll that people like the idea of comment downvotes being public, and an overwhelmingly strong amount of butt hurt from a certain group (you know who you are).

Simple recommendation is to allow accounts to slowly accrue points as they age (reverse decay). Tying it to a set of mechanics reliant on activity is just as likely to cause people to post echo chamber content simply to get the required points as it is to create organic conversations.

Only the one I've already provided, which would be reverse-decay point accrual with some kind of minimum activity allowing Lurkers to participate without pressure to post things just for make-believe points.

Listen here. I'm just a guy. A very normal one. I'm nothing special.

I understand where you are coming from. However doing it would require some work that I just don't have the time to do. I have 3 jobs outside of poal and 3 kids and a wife. If you have an idea on how to get it done I'm open too it but at the moment I can barely keep up with the bill for poal and my bills and doing what I need to do as an admin dad and father. So if you have a better idea I'm open too it but for the moment I'm busting my ass to be the best admin I can be.
