My mum had a "pet" wallaby that would eat meat scraps and yogurt.
Human's digestive systems are not particularly well designed for eating plants. If they were, we'd have a body shape more like a Gorilla, with a large amount of intestines for the slow digestion of plant matter. Instead, we have somewhat of a hybrid digestive system and a jaw structure that is consistent with an omnivorous diet of meat, fruits, seeds, etc. Humans are not designed to just eat plants at all. Whites have also evolved to be able to consume significant quantities of various animal milks, mainly cows milk, through the domestication of those animals over many thousands of years.
