One thing that anarchocapitalists commonly ignore at the peril of their persuasiveness (even from a 100% free market perspective): large landlords are being given unfairly advantageous treatment in western countries. The anger that people have at landlords did not come out of thin air, and it's not going to disappear into thin air either. Either the fundamental issues need to be resolved, or we'll see people accept retarded desperation-solutions like instilling socialist regimes in response.
Simplistically, in a free market, the landlord is whoever pays for the defense of the property claim. The more that people wish to claim that property, the higher the cost it would require to defend the claim. This is a natural counter-balance on making excessively large property claims, thereby regulating absentee ownership and rent-seeking behavior.
In clownworld, the landlord is whoever owns the title and pays the property taxes. While that is allegedly the same thing, it is not. For the well-connected, the property taxes are very easy to manipulate into pitiful sums, and so effectively the price of defending the property claim is decoupled from the finances of whoever owns it. Very literally, small property owners and the working class pay for the defense of the property for the very rich, regardless if they are making use of that property whatsoever. Even without considering that modern "well-connected" individuals make their money from little more than elaborate counterfeiting via the federal reserve; abuse of property taxes alone socializes the costs of their property claims onto everybody else. When you DO add on the effect of inflation caused by the federal reserve, you see that same group of people are also stealing generational wealth from the common man.
With the common man's generational wealth under direct assault, the next generations are less and less likely to own property of their own, and thereby have no alternatives but to accept the rent-seeking of the well-connected. This is truly how the price of housing / rent across the US has reached such absurd levels.
Point is; don't defend the large realtors in the USA. It is not consistent with anarcho-capitalism, philosophically or pragmatically. If people think you are defending faggots like bill gates, they will rightfully stop paying attention to whatever you say.
