Telling someone from a former socialist country,or any satellite country of the former USSR, that has been under a communist dictatorship from the end of ww2 to 89-90 that they do not understand what socialism is,and that communism hasn't really been tried yet. Is something that might get you punched in the face,especially if they had a few drinks.
