My boss is Polish, he lived in Communist Poland for some time as a child, but his family escaped eventually. He ended up doing an Arts degree at uni (no fucking idea why, probably for the pussy) and regails me with tales of his classes chocked full of naive marxists. They'd prattle on about how great communism was until he asked them whether any of them had actually lived in a communist country ... crickets, so he told them to go fuck themselves because the don't know shit. This would have been almost 30 years ago, no doubt it's orders of magnitude worse now.
