Gotek indeed. This is my test rig, I thin I am going to put this card in a stock rev 5 board and in the new case etc etc.

I just ordered some capacitor kits and am waiting on those to come in, I also need to replace the keyboard membrane and deoxit the sockets.

The lead time on some values of panasonic caps in the middle of next year. So I payed the kit price hike and ordered a few a500 sets and one a3000 set.

I also need to design and print out a keystone adapter for the ethernet and figure something out for the usb and hdmi.

Fun stuff!

That's awesome.

Fun stuff!

I know, right?

Back in the days with a bunch of friends, we used to drive around Eastern Europe to some Amiga/Commodore meetings/conventions. Cars were so full of all the stuff, we could barely close the doors. lol Good times!

I actually got the rev. 5 a500 I am going to use at a copy/demo party in Poland in 2006. It was a fucking blast, this guy pulled up in a potato van loaded with beer, hardware, and software. They had a massive projection system, lights/lasers, and a MASSIVE audio system. We drank, played games, swapped files, and I eventually found myself doing hardware mods and repairs at a table dedicated to doing so. The table had a stack of spares chips and random hardware bits. It was amazing coming from the USA where we had weak ass copy meetups if you were in a major city. Big eye opener for me at the Slav Commodore scene.
