This version plays really good, I would have to say it is my favorite out of all of the platforms. There is a guy doing a complete overhaul of the original on c64 that looks like it will be really good as well. He is doing all the sprites from scratch and redoing the physics quite a bit. I always hated the acceleration curve and friction of the original as well as the delayed float on the jump.
