Do they ever talk about how their time in the military was wasted on jewish interests? unlikely. When you spend a large portion of your life at the bullshit grinder you look at the effort you put in and ignore what came out. Sure, they became disciplined and strong, that is good, but they would have served their people better as a builder, a plumber or any other job that gets zero glory. The very act of bringing to attention that their efforts were all in vain or even worse in the service of evil would be insulting to them. To the soldier they served their country, they performed a righteous act, and anyone who would undermine the sanctity of that act would be a heretic.
