I am actually having a hard time hiring myself right now so I do understand the frustration and the laziness but the article doesn't recognize that there is any difference between one job and another. Starting from the opening line.

A country of roughly 330 million has more than 9 million job openings, and 9.5 million unemployed.

If a Doctor is loses their job and a McDonald's drive through position is available those are not equivalent positions.

Truth. Just because the number of available workers is higher than the number of available job, it doesn't mean those workers can do those jobs.

Oil workers laid off when Biden cancelled Keystone can't just turn on a dime and become dental hygienists.

Who the fuck wants to go to work and deal with all the radical leftist's shit at wages like the 80s? Fatass feminists and gay niggers are so pleasant to work with!

Some of the jobs that have been showing up in my inbox lately don’t pay enough to get out of bed.

Same here. Half the time my first thought is something like, "I would've taken that job 25 years ago when I first got into this field..."

Some of them actually pay about the same or less than the job I had in 1995. That’s crazy.

For me it's more like I'm getting emails about jobs that I did when I first started. Not so much that I'm being approached for current roles at low pay.
