This doesn't make sense to me.

If you've made the choice to end your life, why would you care? At least right as many wrongs as you can so that when you do die, you can do so knowing you made a difference in the world. Maybe your death will inspire others in your situation. Maybe your death is the catalyst that destroys the corrupt family court system entirely, and allows traditional marriages to flourish once again.
But instead, they die alone and the world barely notices.
