Commercial Building at the Tuscarawas County Fairgrounds 295 South Tuscarawas Ave Dover, OH 44622

This is an indoor show as well, but is a fairly small-local. Still worth the hour you'll spend to browse the show if you're nearby.

I have a question for you: I'm going to buy an FT-450. How can I power that from 120 volts when I want to use it in the house? I understand that draws about 20 amps when transmitting.

Yeah that sucker is like 304W of power max transmit.

You'll need a bench supply that can output 13.8V @ at least 22A, I'd go 30A for overhead.

Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/TekPower-TP30SWV-Digital-Switching-Supply/dp/B00L2K263Q although this is just an example and not a suggestion.
