Hurt my back recently, and have been taking ibuprofen, so i’m avoiding drinking as much as i used to. I used to pop tums all day long, maybe 10-15 tums/day, but that has largely gone away. Also, a lot less phlegmy.

I wasn’t drinking “a lot” before, maybe 8-10 drinks over a week. now i only have a couple modelos on pub quiz night once a week. I’ve had only maybe 2-3 tums in the last month.

I recall reading a thread about pepto bismal on here awhile back, Bismuth subsalicylate is apparently pretty bad for you. Drink a glass of milk. Apparently its not in tums but i dont know what the hell is other than calcium? I drink a lot, vodka, and I dont get acid reflux are you overweight?

edit: yikes Calcium carbonate is a naturally occurring chemical compound with the chemical formula CaCO3. It is a common substance found in rocks as the minerals calcite and aragonite, most notably in chalk and limestone, eggshells, gastropod shells, shellfish skeletons, and pearls.

could lose a few, but not fatty fat overweight. vodka and tequila seemed to be easiest on me as far as acid reflux and phlegm the next day compared to other alcohols.
