Try Waterfox or Chromium. I'm pretty sure it's a certificate issue with your browser (do you have 3rd party AdBlock addons/extensions installed?).

That is a bizarre story. My bet is she fucked a human on the side once or twice during her dalliance with the chimp and got pregnant from the human.

That is not only a simpler and more likely explanation but also funnier given that she would have publicly admitted to fucking a chimp for nothing then.
