We have significantly downsized through the china virus impact last year and now there seems to be to much to do. I am grateful to be working but really don't know how to handle the amount of work that is being requested of me short of working 70 or more hours a week. I just ad a meeting with one of my bosses and they now want me to pick up yet more tasks, this time are out of my skill set.

I maybe I am just whining but I am like... I don't even know what to do. Its like when everything is a priority--nothing is a priority--but the demands still come.

Dont fucking quit, but dont blow your load either. Just find out what the bare minimum is to not get fired, and work off of that. Then, when someone asks you to do XYZ, tell them your overworked and to hire more resources. In my company, for example, the upper management intentionally failed to do some tasks, as a political maneuver to hire more resources. It eventually escalated until all our asses were on the line, but no one got fired. Use the company politics to your advantage

In other words, just start working like the blacks do. This is the best advice. Just keep pushing back.

It sucks to think of it that way, but either you work in the current system and focus on your community, or wait until the eventual burnout from all the additional shit thrown on you.
