Feeling the necessity to say you are female means that you don't believe your thoughts or opinions have any value or merit on their own. As in, if a guy made the same comment, it would most likely be ignored. In order to give your opinion more leverage/weight, you let your audience know you are a female. The typical assortment of white knights and bug men will always respond because no amount of programming breaks their base instinct to continually attempt to attract a female mate. The sad truth is that by declaring, "I am female", you are basically reducing yourself to a hole. It doesn't change the fact that nobody is interesting in your opinion and you are uninteresting, it just means some will pretend you are because they want to put their penis in your hole and nothing more.
