This is basically what it's like for black people in black countries when White people show up. We are basically a alien race to them with extremely advanced technology and can do basically anything. They are barely "alive" enough to remember to try to get water sometimes from the river but too stupid to filter it (with materials they already have and have been shown how to use) or to boil it so they don't get sick. I don't even think I would consider them NPC's at this point. The "animal NPC's" seem to be smarter.
