They made the price hikes worse, and they would have dragged this out if it weren’t fueled by a temporary surge of investment, but now they’re all getting burned and they will help the prices crash down to below normal for a while.

It will. The return to sane prices is starting sooner than I thought it would. There are still new data centers being built right now. I thought they would still be buying massive amounts of hardware and pushing up prices for at least the next 6 months.
