No "AI" (chatbot, LLM) is remotely capable. I've witnessed this multiple times. I've had grok tell me that I should give "others" a permission level of 6 for an internet facing file... Like... what?

That problem is LLMs aren't built off of good, capable code / script. They're built off of github. Which sure, has the Linux kernel and more excellent on it. But it has far more reddit on it.

Try models trained specifically for coding.

For Python, the best Llama model is Code Llama — 70B — Python, as it is specifically fine-tuned for Python tasks
