People already do. It is not a "magic do things for me button" and is not a replacement for your own research and efforts but so many people even say they don't even use a search engine anymore. You know that was the wet-dream of every company with a "voice assistant"? They wanted you to give up on looking at things on your own and just "trust the bot".

That same bot has been known to outright lie and push political views and beliefs. Just like most of the publicly available AI's. (Hint, its jews all the way down) has some great resources on the rabbi hole....
