Sure, Ill believe that bullshit when you stop making your AI's give woke answers to everything while you try to re-write history.

One part of the problem with people using AI instead of search engines makes it easier for them to lie to you since you are not "doing your own research" and if they don't like what the real info says they can just prompt the AI to tell you what they want.

How long (I am sure this is already happening) until you get a visit from the secret police because you committed a thought crime when writing a question to an AI? How long until you ask it a "wrong-think" question or something that could be related to building "bad things" and the police are at your door arresting you?

Also, in a not so "ironic" statement. "Democracy" is by definition authoritarian. Especially the version the 'left' pushes.

>OpenAI cofounder and CEO Sam Altman detailed steps that the private and public sectors should take to ensure that a “democratic AI” will prevail over an “authoritarian AI” model. In a Washington Post op-ed Thursday, he said control of artificial intelligence is the “urgent question of our time” and means the world must confront a strategic choice. “Will it be one in which the United States and allied nations advance a global AI that spreads the technology’s benefits and opens access to it, or an authoritarian one, in which nations or movements that don’t share our values use AI to cement and expand their power?” Altman wrote.
