It’s the nature of growth. Pinsetters at the bowling alley used to be people, not machines. The machines made them obsolete, and I’m sure there was some fuss about how all these people would be out of work. 100 years later society still functions and most people don’t even know those people used to exist

I have read an article talking about many voice actors training their replacement, and it is happening so fast there isn't much they can do about it if they want to pay the bills they have.
